Ampere Launches Magnus Grand Electric Scooter with LFP Battery at ₹89,999
Ampere, the electric two-wheeler brand under Greaves Electric Mobility, unveiled the Magnus Grand electric scooter on Wednesday. The model features Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LFP) battery technology backed by a five-year or 75,000 km warranty, priced at ₹89,999 ex-showroom.
Built on the Magnus NEO platform—known for a 2,300 km Bangalore-Delhi journey—the Magnus Grand introduces a dual-frame chassis targeting urban families. Key upgrades include a digital display, reinforced grab rail, advanced braking, and spacious seating for higher payload capacity. Available in Matcha Green and Ocean Blue with Gold accents, the scooter emphasizes safety and comfort.
"The Magnus Grand marks a pivotal step in redefining urban mobility," said Vikas Singh, Managing Director of Greaves Electric Mobility. The launch aligns with India’s expanding EV market, as Greaves—with 16 years in EV manufacturing—prepares for a potential IPO after filing a draft prospectus with SEBI in December 2024.
